[Nfbc-info] Urgent Please

Howdy Federation Friends,

For thos who don't know me, my name is Jim and I've done a lot of IT
work, including email postmastering. For the time being, I am
assuming that Ed's Yahoo email has been compromised and am speaking
with the Yahoo Abuse team.

Given that there's been a 2nd email sent (supposedly from Ed), I'd
like to strong encourage caution here, and please don't do anything
based on these emails sent by Ed. I'd like to suggest that folks talk
with Ed, or his wife, via the phone, and see if we can verify this
information through another channel. If someone does speak with Ed,
then they should email this list and let us know what's going on.

There are two major red flags (Bryan has already mentioned one) that
lead me to believe this is not from Ed.

First, the list of people who received this email is not listed in the
smtp headers. The nfbc-info tag is in the subject line, but not in
the to line.

Second, the grammar of this email is not good, also leading me to
believe that this is not from Ed.

Thanks,

Jim
