Hi Jim,
The local independent living center (ILC) would be the local agency that would know the most about what resources are available. Resource for Independent Living is the Sacramento ILC. Their phone number is 916-446-3074 and their website is: www.ril-sacramento.org.
One of their core services is information and referral so if there are resources they should be aware and directing her.

Subject: [Nfbc-info] Sacramento deaf woman is losing her vision and looking for help.
Hey Folks,
I have been asked if I can help find resources for a deaf woman who
is losing her vision in the Sacramento area.
I'm 3 degrees away from this person, so I don't know them at all.
If anyone in the Sacramento area has suggestions of someone who this
woman could talk to, please shoot me an email at jbar at barcore.com
Thanks Everyone,
Jim
