TECH TALK
New advances in technology are changing the lives of many people who are
blind or low-vision. Come and be part of a group that will meet every month
to discuss and help you better understand many types of Assistive Technology
that can help you to Be more independent and productive. Whether you are new
to technology or know your way around, participating in "Tech Talk" is a
great way to meet others like you who want to learn more about or enjoy
talking tech.
In November we will discuss online shopping. The holidays are fast
approaching and we all want to find the best deals on gifts for our loved
ones. Come and learn about and share your strategies for finding the best
bargains and shopping safely online. If surfing the net for bargains isn't
your thing and you prefer to shop the traditional way, you can still benefit
by learning how to get online pricing from your local retailers. We can also
talk about the hottest gadgets that will make great gifts this year.
