Hello all. As many of you know, today I wend to another neuro surgeon for a third oppinion. At first, he looked at all of the pictures and thought that surgery might be an answer. After looking at the leg, he then wanted to get Dr Chambi’s (the doctor from Socal) oppinion. He got his notes, and after getting his notes, and looking at them, he then determinedthat surgery wasn’t a very good option.
We also discussed the fact that I went to a doctor and discussed bio feedback. I have determined that it wasn’t a good option because it isn’t a cureall, but a pain controll method that could be very expensive because it isn’t covered by insurance. Also, this particular doctor hadn’t worked with blind people in a very long time.
This particular neuro surgeon did say to avoid kalternative medicine as well.
I am currently on neurontin (1800 miligrams a day which is still not doing anything for the pain. ****I guess I am a medical anomaly. Noone knows what to do with me. It has been suggested that I try pain management again.
That is all for now I guess.
