Hello list,

I know I don't post here very often but I'm hoping someone on here can help me out with some resources. I'm currently living in a small Northern California town that I had moved to in order to be close to family and friends. Unfortunately, I found myself trapped in a town with limited public transit, no one in my age group to interact with, and a mobile home with expenses far too high to handle. I called the Sacramento Society for the Blind in order to possibly obtain some resources either for affordable housing (of course with long waiting lists) or some kind of emergency low-cost apartment resource but they failed to send the email they were supposed to send, so I found the SHRA waiting list applications online and applied for everything that was open. I know this may sound like instant gratification but I'm really hoping to move as soon as possible so I can return to a city full of paved roads, job opportunities and reliable mass transit! I'm going to email the River City list as well, but if you have any resources or know any female between the ages of 21 and 40 who needs a roommate in Sacramento, please let me know!
