Executive Director

 

 

The Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ACBVI) is the only vision rehabilitation agency in Alaska.  The Center serves 15,000 Alaskans statewide who have low vision or blindness that cannot be corrected by eyeglasses or medical treatment. Our mission is to equip these Alaskans for success in life and work. 

 

ACBVI is recruiting for an Executive Director who will understand and promote the Center’s mission, communicate effectively and develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Center including fiscal and personnel management, planning, compliance and fund raising. 

 

ACVBI offers health insurance, generous holidays and paid leave as well as a great work environment.
