Well Steven was amazing!
He is going to make a technology report and will say that I need a Dell
15-inch notebook with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 Professional
with a numpad, he also said since that they are $10, he is going to also
recommend an external keyboard, a victor Reader Stream for playing Daisy
content for textbooks, JAWS and Kurzweil 1000 upgrades and the software
called TypeAbility so I can let the instructors know my accuracy and
speed, the HoverCam and the Printer/Scanner/Copy Machine/Fax-in-one unit
and of course the paper for the printer and ink cartridges for it as
well as the Focus 14 Blue which I tested out and like and it works well
for me. I'm going to not only use it for the computer but I can use it
with my IPod Touch to take notes using the notes app on my IPod Touch
5G, and I can also pair it with my cell phone the Samsung Jack with
Mobile Speak Smartphone which sometimes doesn't speak to me which is
alarming at times to me.
Dave McElroy I don't own a laptop because right now I'm borrowing
someone else's so yes I have the right to avail myself of the service of
Rehab because I can and will and if CCB or ACB won't back me up, then
I'll join the NFB since they are ones or at least some of the group
members of the California devision is backing me up and supporting the
final outcome and is encouraging me and you have the audacity to say the
nasty comments you always say whenever someone is trying their best in
society to make it and to not make mistakes because a lot of us try to
be perfectionists, at least I'm one of them so I'm not going to let your
comments bring me down, you don't know me at all and you don't know how
hard I've tried for 9 years of my life that have gone wasted and I'm
finally breaking through! Should there not be some sort of applause
going on now?
Enough from me right now, I'm happy all is going well right now and now
I'm going to let off steam on my trumpet because of your assumptions of
me. I do really try hard!
Thank you all very much for your encouragement!
Have a great weekend!
Trumpeter Chela Robles who is glad to know and hear the school staff is
very positive I'll succeed because I wow them every time I have a
meeting demonstration or whatever and the knowledge says a lot too.
I'm proficient in the braille skills of reading/writing braille too.
Have known it since I was 3 and same goes with cane travel...so yes I
try to get by and make something of myself after all I'm nothing without
God and guideance from others and I feel confident because others feel
confident in me as well and cheering me on helps too.

Teachers have a sacred task:
It is to give children the skills to understand the world and an expectation
that the world is a trustworthy place; that it is full of light, and love,
and music and that each student deserves--and will have--their own place in
it and the chance to play their own song.
And, as much of these expectations are transmitted non-verbally—and in Chela’s
case--out of sight…it is the voice and touch of a Teacher that sheds light
on what the world can be.
Academics—and no one will ever change my mind on this—take a distant second
place. —Dr. Bil Hawkins
