Portia, this is Eric.  To my knowledge, there is currently no NFB Chapter
in the San Gabriel Valley area.  However, you may try the San Fernando
Valley Chapter and the Northridge Chapter.  If you're bold enough, come
down to Orange County and join Rob, Deanna Bates, and the Orange County
Chapter.  Just call Access Customer Service at 1-800-827-0829 and ask for
