[Nfbc-info] seeking informative DOR resources

Hello Lisa,

I too would like this information for the clients I serve in my home area.
I'm an occupational therapist, who provides low vision services to the
senior population and I believe that these problems are widespread through
the state of CA. Ever since the team concept has been instituted, services
for my clients have disintegrated. I still have clients who are waiting for
their equipment from March of 2014. I'm not sure if the CAP program is still
in existence. I am hoping that others who have suggestions on this topic wil
post it on the list.

Thanks for posting this to the list serve. I look forward to others
responding.

Best,
Eileen

Subject: [Nfbc-info] seeking informative DOR resources

Hi All,

I am writing on behalf of three chapter members. They have encountered some
roadblocks to obtaining services and equipment from DOR. I would like to
empower and to assist them. What NFB resources are available to share with
chapter members to help them under their rights, responsibilities how to
justify a request and how to take charge of their IPE.

Warmly,

Lisa Irving
