Subject:        Theresa Woo Appointed San Francisco District Administrator

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Theresa Woo to the Staff
Services Manager II/District Administrator position for the San Francisco
District.  Theresa will begin her transition to her new position effective
April 6, 2015.

In support of the Department's mission and goals, Theresa will be
responsible for the overall management and supervision of vocational
rehabilitation services throughout the San Francisco District, including
services provided throughout four field offices within San Francisco, San
Mateo, and Marin Counties.

With approximately 19 years of combined experience as a Rehabilitation
Counselor, Rehabilitation Supervisor, Rehabilitation Specialist, and Staff
Services Manager I/District Operations Support in the Oakland and Greater
East Bay District offices, Theresa brings diverse experience and knowledge
that will be invaluable to her new position.  Theresa's previous employment
as a Program Coordinator of the Work Adjustment Services Program for Hope
Services in San Jose also reflects her depth of knowledge and expertise.

Theresa currently serves on the Alameda County Workforce Investment Board
and has previously served on the Services for Brain Injury Board. Theresa's
service provides a breadth of stakeholder experience and collaboration as
well as subject matter expertise.

Through her academic pursuits, Theresa continues to exemplify true
dedication to the employment, independence, and equality of persons with
disabilities. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Special Education with an
emphasis in Rehabilitation Services from San Jose State University and a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Holy Names University in Oakland,
California.

Francisco District Administrator.
