"The Hunt for Affordable Housing”
A half day seminar to learn about affordable places to live in the Sacramento region.
Join the Society for the Blind and the Hatlen Center, a program of Junior Blind, on Wednesday, December 2nd as we hear presentations from the Capital Area Development Authority (CADA) and Mercy Housing on affordable apartment and housing opportunities and resources available in the Sacramento region. Attendees will leave the seminar with knowledge on how to apply for affordable housing in the region, how to qualify for housing, where to gain additional financial resources and the ability to network with presenters.
The seminar will conclude with brief presentations from the Society for the Blind and Junior Blind, who will provide information for attendees on local resources from recreation to support groups and employment options
Light refreshments will be served.
