[Nfbc-info] sweeping changes for blind and visually impaired Kaiser Permanente members

Hi,
I sure hope they get a different system from the "talking vials" that the KP
pharmacies use now. The bottles don't even fit in them and they are bulky
and you have to remember to take them back. I have a pile of them in my home
that I keep forgetting to take back. If I had a machine that would read
every bottle, that would be better for me.

I'm not sure what they have in mind for "architectural barriers" for blind
people???

It would certainly be helpful to get info in an accessible format; however,
I get a lot of my info on their website. I make good use of the message
center back and forth with my drs. I can read my test results there also. So
Kaiser is already ahead of some other companies. I'm sure glad they will do
more.
Thanks,
Lauren

mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might
ask or think.

Hello All:

I am very excited to share with you the link below which details sweeping
changes for blind Kaiser Permanente members. I am one of twenty-five
claimants who contributed to these changes. If you know of blind individuals
who are also members of Kaiser Permanente please share this information with
them.
