[Nfbc-info] NFBC-Info Digest, Vol 149, Issue 14

for me, it isn’t what holds me back. I’m Veronica, not the blind person…
blindness is not an issue for me, I am a human being, I don’t want to be known as the blind woman. To my son, I am his mother. He doesn’t see me and say oh, my mom is blind. It doesn’t matter to him, and that is how it has always been for me. Even growing up, my sisters and my family never refer to me as the blind girl, woman etc. If you make Blindness a big deal, then it is going to be. Just my opinion. And by the way, I thought there was already a Metrolink in Paris California? At least that’s what I heard.

How is blindness not what holds you back from you living the life that you want? one of the things I would like t see us work towards and push for is more trains on Metrolink. I would like to see Metrolink to add one train on the 91 Paris valley line at 10 PM at night. Because, as of right now, if I wanted to go to a Lakers or clippers game which is only two miles from union station, I would not be able to. I would have to catch a $50 Uber and that’s breaking the bank. Does the author of resolution need to be present in order for the NFBC to consider it?
