[NFBC-Info] The NFBCA, San Diego Chapter Meet the Blind Month Event

Hello NFBCA Family,

 

Last Saturday, the San Diego Chapter set up a table in San Diego's beautiful
Balboa Park. Our chapter members spent the day educating passers by about
blindness related topics such as the use of Braille, and how the NFB has
impacted our lives. We distributed NFB literature, and countless alphabet
cards. What a fabulous day we had. Our little area was decked out with
Holloween decorations created by Claude Edwards, who, btw also spearheaded
the event. I think it safe to say that everyone contributed valuable time
and skills to make this a successful event. I just had to brag about our
work for a minute. Yay NFB team!
