>     In August of last year, California in general and Cabs in particular helped to host the Pacific Regional Student Seminar at Enchanted Hills Camp near Napa, California. This was a weekend of valuable networking, informative presentations, insightful discussions, and fun. It was a great opportunity for student leaders to get to know each other on a more personal level. This year, we would like to help more people attend the seminar by raising funds to assist with expenses. >     On the national level, we have been hard at work urging congress to cosponsor bills that directly impact our lives as students. One such bill is HR 5312, the Accessible Instructional Materials in Higher Education Act (AIM High). Thousands of blind college students from across the country struggle on a daily basis due to accessibility barriers in the classroom and on campus. The passage of this bill will ensure that students are guaranteed the right to accessible materials and course-related software. If you would like to help pass this essential bill and have previously faced accessibility challenges in school, we encourage you to write a paragraph about your experiences.
