[NFBC-Info] Sky Diving

	hello.  Many years ago, one of our members, Michael Bailiff, went sky
diving.  He is totally blind.  He wrote an article about his experience in
the Braille Monitor.  I don't remember which issue.  Michael now lives in
Baltimore and is not in the NFB, but you can still find him and I'm sure he
would be willing to tell you about his experience.  Or, if the search on
the nfb.org site is good, perhaps the article can be found.  I'll see if I
can find it.
As I remember it, he didn't need any special accommodation.  The only thing
that might be an issue, since I assume you're going with a trainer who will
be jumping in tandem with you, is to ask the instructor to tell you when to
prepare to hit the ground, so you don't  increase yor risk of breaking a
limb.

Have fun and, do, write a refreshed followup article on your experience for
the Monitor.
