Hello, everyone:

I hope that you are all getting excited for convention! It is only a little over one week away. If you have not yet registered for either the in-person or virtual convention, be sure to do so by tomorrow at nfbcal.org/convention. After tomorrow, all convention rates will go up by $20. We are working on finalizing the agenda and will be getting it out to you soon.

In order to keep all of our in-person attendees as safe as possible, we are putting some Covid protocols in place for those joining us in San Diego. These protocols include masking during convention events and providing a negative Covid test taken less than twenty-four hours before picking up your registration packet.

Though we will be providing tests on-sight, we would like to have as many tests taken ahead of time as possible. This can be done using in-home tests or PCR tests, as long as the tests are taken less than twenty-four hours before picking up your packet and results are available by the time you arrive at the registration table.

You can provide proof of negative Covid test by taking a picture of the results or, if results are written out, you can provide the text. Be sure to include the date and time you took the test. Results can be provided at the registration table, or they can be emailed ahead of time to covid at nfbcal.org <mailto:covid at nfbcal.org>. Those who email their negative test results before arrival at the registration table will be entered into a special door prize drawing which will take place at the convention banquet.

I am excited to see many of you at convention!

Rachel
