April 1, you won't want to miss the afternoon that the NFB, San Diego
Chapter has planned for you. Below and attached, please find the flier for
this event. The flier contains all the information you will need to register

Dine, Listen, and Watch Respect Starring Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whitaker

When?       April 1, 2023 | 12:00 PM-3:00 PM

The National Federation of the Blind of San Diego, (NFBC, SD Chapter)
invites you to join us for a relaxing afternoon of movie watching and/or
listening as we play an audio described version of Respect (Rated PG-13). We
are pleased to provide this opportunity to not only view this movie that
Follows the rise of Aretha Franklin's career from a child singing in her
father's church's choir to her international superstardom but also hear an
audio description. 

Your $10 donation will help support the work of the NFBC, SD chapter as we
advocate four the blind community and educate  about blindness. 

To learn more about refreshments that will be available during the movie
afternoon, how to register for the event, and how to make your donation,
please read the RSVP and donation details below.

Available Refreshments

This relaxing and fun movie afternoon will include the following
refreshments:

*       Nachos (Tortilla chips topped with cheese sauce, and any or all of
the following. black beans, jalapenos, and salsa verde.

*       Pork sliders with pickles, and B.B.Q. Sauce.

*       Hotdogs with mustard and/or ketchup.

*       Veggie's and hummus.

*       Soft drinks, and bottled water.

Additional types of treats will be available for small donations during the
event.

How to Preregister

To preregister for this event, please RSVP on or before To help us prepare
enough refreshments for everyone, please RSVP by Saturday, March 25.

How to Make Your Donation

using this method, please add $1.00 to your donation amount to cover the
cost of using Zelle service. (Your donation amount will be $11.00.

*       Send a check for $11.00 to the NFBC, SD Treasurer.

*       You may make your $10 donation at the door. If you choose to do so,
please make sure to RSVP before 5:00 PM, Saturday, March 25

1.	Go to nfbcal.org.

2. Click on Donate to the NFB of California link.

3. Fill out the donation amount and all contact information. (If using this
method, please add $1.00 to cover the cost of the online service. Your full
donation will be $11.00.
