Dear Family,

It is almost national convention time! I look forward to seeing many of you
in Orlando in just a few weeks. Here are a couple points to consider as you
plan your trip. Note that the agenda is now published on the website.

https://nfb.org/get-involved/national-convention

Caucus. Mark your calendars. The California caucus, where we share
state-specific announcements and discuss how our state should vote on the
proposed resolutions, will be held on July 6 at 8:00 p.m. in meeting room
Signature 2 (second level).

Banquet. Note that we will not be formally hosting a banquet ticket
exchange this year. Grab a few friends that you would like to sit with at
the banquet and select a table leader from your group to turn your tickets
in for a table number. In the spirit of the Federation, consider inviting
some new people to join your group. Please make sure that everyone is
included and feels welcome.

Contact. You can usually find me sitting under the California flag a few
minutes before each general session. Don't hesitate to reach out by email
to president at nbcal.org <mailto:president at nbcal.org> or find me at the flag
if you have any concerns once you are in Orlando. Also note that the email
and phone information for all chapter and division presidents is available
on our nfbcal.org website, under local chapters. Be sure to register if you
haven't done so already and check the email used for registration regularly
for more information and updates. I look forward to seeing everyone very
soon.

Safe travels,

Did you know that blind Californians are holding monthly meetings in your
region over Zoom and telephone? Check out our virtual local chapter and
division meetings. All are welcome to attend.
