Good afternoon,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Courtney Nuestro, and I am the Transition Services Coordinator at Wayfinder Family Services. We are excited to announce that Wayfinder's Transition Services is tentatively hosting the Group Student Services for Success Program in March 2025 for students with visual impairments (ages 16-21), which will focus on developing workplace readiness, independent living skills, and preparing for post-secondary education.

The program is scheduled to take place from March 10th to 15th at the Anaheim Marriott and will include a mix of sessions at the CSUN Assistive Technology Conference, along with lessons from the "Putting Your Best Foot Forward" curriculum, developed by the National Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision. Participants will gain valuable training in assistive technology, social skills, and workplace independence. Accommodations will be provided at the Marriott, and Wayfinder staff will offer 24-hour supervision throughout the program.

To participate, students must obtain approval from their Department of Rehabilitation counselor, complete an online application, and submit a medical packet, including a Tuberculosis screening. For more details, please refer to the attached flyer.
