As promised, below you will find the NFB Pledge and One Minute message for your reference. A few days before each meeting, I reach out to a different chapter member and ask if they would like to lead us in that month’s meeting, so please study it because you may be next. 😊

 

NFB Pledge

I pledge to participate actively in the effort of the National Federation of the Blind to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind; to support the policies and programs of the Federation; and to abide by its constitution.

 

The NFB One Minute Message

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
