[nfbcs] Odd keyboard behavior

Hi Rob. Might want to talk with FS about this. Does it happen when you
are running both Zoom Text and Jaws or does it happen no matter which
you use?

Subject: [nfbcs] Odd keyboard behavior

Hi all,

I just started using a new computer. It has Windows XP, JAWS 10, and
ZoomText 8.

I'm thinking that this is probably some kind of setting. I've always
been able to hold down the insert key and press any other key as many
times as I wanted and the insert key would still be active. Now, if for
example, I perform the read line command (insert+uparrow) and continue
to hold the insert and press the uparrow again, the insert key is
ignored and it is as if I'm just pressing the uparrow.

Alternatively, if I hold down the alt key and press the tab key several
times, the keystroke continues to acknowledge the alt key. It appears
to be specific to the insert keys.

I've been exposed to quite a number of computers through home and work,
but this is the first time I've run into this one. So if anyone has any
ideas of what's going on, I would appreciate knowing them.

Thanks in advance,

-- Rob
