[nfbcs] Odd keyboard behavior

Yes, it is a standard keyboard.  In fact, it is the same keyboard I've been 
using for many years on my old computer.  No, the problem is not with the 
numlock.  I rarely use the numpad insert (zero) key, but this behavior is 
happening with both the numpad and six-pack insert keys.
