[nfbcs] Special Characters in Word

Try using the Bullets and Lists function.

How I would go about making a bullet list is this:

1. Type up the first line in the list
2. Select the entire line (I usually do a control + up arrow to the 
beginning of the line and then do a shift + control + down arrow to select 
the entire line.)
3. Either do an applications key and find the menu item "Bullets and Lists" 
or find it in the Format menu.
4. Choose whether you want a bullet list or numbered list by doing control + 
tab through the tab pages in the dialogue box (The bulleted lists are 
usually the first items that show up when you get into the Bullets and Lists 
dialogue box.)
5. Make sure to go to the Tabs menu item under Format and clear all tab 
points listed in the list box ( Word tends to add extrenuous tab points when 
you create a list which will make your list look way out of alignment).
6. Once you have what you wanted, move to the end of that first line and do 
a carriage return (or Enter)

Every line you type in after that first line will be automatically listed 
and JAWS will announce "bullet" when you read through the document.
