I'll have to agree here.  I have never tried, but cannot imagine that you
will have a very good experience with Safari and JAWS.  The web development
tools don't work all that well with VoiceOver on the Mac.

Firebug and Firefox work really well (although I use firebug with NVDA as it
works better than JAWS).

If this doesn't answer your question please feel free to clarify what you
are looking for
