[nfbcs] New Laptop; and JAWS questions?

The so-called business line of notebooks are geared more for business tasks
than they are entertainment. They may not feature the best in terms of
graphic chips. They may not come with some of the media-dedicated controls.
What is and is not offered really depends on the brand. Unfortunately, you
pay a little more, but one thing about Dell that they may or may not still
be doing is the ability to build your own device according to your
specifications.
To Robert, I thought I felt the same about a full-size wireless keyboard
with notebooks. I bought one, and it's been sitting unused for almost a
year. For me, JAWS got a lot better when it began using the CAPS key as its
JAWS key for easier cursor manipulation.
Best,
Joe

With respect to brands, everyone has their preference, but I've
always been
partial to Dell. Their Latitude line is, in my opinion, solid
and reliable.
Business laptops tend to ship with less of the bloatware,
though it is true
that one can reinstall the operating system to get rid of these
unnecessary
programs.
