Hello Cheryl and everyone,

And promote alternatives to Kindle such as Blio. Folks that e-book reader
was developed by us working with Ray Kurzweil and his team of innovators. We
have Blio working on one of our computers and plan to install it on the
others when Mary gets her new machine and some troubleshooting on this rig
is completed.

The best part about Blio is that the software is free and there are over
a million free e-books one can download and read. Additional titles can be
purchased from the Blio Bookstore. Our national office goes to great lengths
to include among other things demonstrations of new technology for the blind
such as Blio on the monthly presidential releases and play the complete
release. This is exactly why all local chapters need to play these releases
so members will be aware of access technology particularly those we
developed such as the KNFB and the Blio Readers. There's an accessible
alternative to the Kindle so let's spread the word.

We need to let the know the powers that be, like our State and affiliate
presidents as well as Baltimore. We need to stop complaining and do
something.
