Thanks, Nicole.
I'm opposed to "upgrade" to IE8, because it doesn't work as well with my
web-based email.  I'd also probably have to "upgrade" Jaws, and later
versions don't work as well with my terminal emulation.  So I'm sticking
with my old IE as long as I can possibly do it, on the computer I use to
log in to work.
I've run virus scans, and nothing's come up.  But I'll keep looking at it.
