[nfbcs] Firefox

First and foremost, there is something seriously wrong with your computer,
the files on it, or your current browser if Firefox is faster than IE.
Almost everyone I know who uses both IE and Firefox says that IE is faster.
I strongly suggest upgrading to IE 8 and doing some clean up of your
computer. IE has options for deleting cookies and temporary internet files
other than cookies. You should also run disk clean up as well as some other
kind of malware/spyware remover.
Second, I am not sure why those keystrokes are not working in
Firefox as they are not application specific. They are keystrokes
implemented by JAWS that work in all HTML and PDF documents. It could be
something about JAWS getting stuck in forms mode or returning back to the
top of the page. I have often found that trying to exit forms mode in
Firefox puts me in a menu instead, and, once I do exit forms mode, I am
placed back at the top of the page rather than on the form field which I
just exited.

HTH,
Nicole

Subject: [nfbcs] Firefox

When I was having trouble with Amazon the other day, I installed Firefox as
an alternative to IE. It's working OK, but I'd like to know if there are
ways to skip around a website in Firefox. In IE, I often hit h, and Jaws
skips to the next heading. I do this a lot. Also c for combobox and b for
button. These tricks don't seem to work in Firefox. Are there other ways
to make it jump to the next heading, form field, combo box or button?

Firefox loads websites a lot faster than IE, and I'll use it more, if I can
figure out how to get around quickly.
Thanks.
Tracy
