Hi,

I've posted to this list before and received really helpful feedback. So figured you could help me with another issue.

I just started my courses at Oregon State in Computer Science, and almost all materials have been easy to use. Yet, I am looking for hints in using Putty. I've Googled keywords and found some information, but I wasn't sure how current it was. I figured JAWS 14 may have some enhancements for working in Putty that earlier versions did not. My professor said I can use another program comparable to it, so if you all know of one that is more accessible, let me know.

I'm also looking for a mentor to talk to about CS--someone who I can contact off list or via phone for specific issues. Isn't there someone at NFB who assist in this area? If so, how do I get in contact? Or, do you know of CS organizations for Disabled or blind that give feedback on accessibility issues. I don't want to bombard this list with questions.
You can call or e-mail me.

Thanks,
Tara
