Thanks. I'm actually one of those people who prefers to be asked and then
store the settings as, JMHO, unless the cookie is actually necessary for the
site to run, I don't want it on my computer.

Nicole,
Sure, no problem.

1. Go into Firefox, select Tools, then Options.
2. Find the privacy category in the list view.
3. There is a combo box for history settings. Choose "Use Custom Settings
for History". You'll want to expand with Alt+Down Arrow and then arrow to
the one you want, because if you just press arrow keys it will change
options as you hit each item and you may not want them changed.
4. Obviously, make sure that the "Accept cookies from sites" box is checked.
You'll probably also want to accept third party cookies, even though they're
a bit of a violation, because if you don't you'll find sites strangely don't
work some times and you won't get a good explanation as to why. It's not so
bad since you're going to clear them when the browser closes anyway.
5. Tab until you find a combo box labeled "keep until". Select "I close
Firefox" from the available choices. You could also choose to have it ask
you for every cookie, but I don't like it doing that because you'll end up
being bombarded with requests to store cookies. Sites will sometimes ask 3
or 4 or sometimes even more times. Better, in my opinion anyway, to just go
ahead and accept them and then delete them as soon as you're done with your
session.

Hope this helps.
Joe
