[nfbcs] "empty" pdf

Try changing the reading order to option 2, "left-to-right, top-to-bottom", or option 4, if it exists "tagged".  Sometimes one of these reading options will help.

The other problem I have had come up with PDF files is that many times they are rendered without spaces between the words. Has anyone found a fix for that?
