[nfbcs] Making Apps

Hello I can provide hints/tips about this. I am software developer and have
created some Apps for the visually impaired. There is a lot of ground to
cover but I will try to provide an overview: first, I recommend using the
"native" approach, meaning using java for Android and Objetive-C or Swift
for iOS because they can provide the best options to use the accessibility
features of the mobile device. Second, it is doable with html5 also, but
some tricks/performance issues arise, doable but tricky. Third I recommend
staying away from "makers/builders" tools that offer to create an App
"without programming" because they usually do not have accessibility
options built-in the development tool so the results will not be accessible
at least not by default or without extra work. There is another path, and
that is to just use any tool, but, for the visually impared, add in-voice
and accessibility by hand, this is a path taken usually by people doing
games, but it will increase the size of the resulting App because the
voices must be included with the App.

I will also add some links with info about this topic here:

Please feel free to contact me for more details or chat or talk about this
topic.
