[nfbcs] Accessibility and Usability of PHP Storm or suggestions of alternatives

Hi All,

We are using PHP Storm in our web development class. This software is developed by Jetbrains, the software company who makes IntelliJ.

I am wondering if anyone has successfully used this software, and if so, what version are you using? If you have found alternatives to this software, what have you been using? I'm trying to convince my professor that a text editor is a perfectly good alternative, but he has yet to accept this. :)
