[nfbcs] new laptop needed and Word training

Hi, I am looking to get a new laptop, but i have no familiarity with 
Windows 8.  Would it be in my best interest to seek out a Windows 7 or 8 
and how is the learning curve between a 7 and 8.  i like my current 
system, but i need a laptop.  i also need some Word training for a 
course I want to take later, does anyone know of any reasonably priced 
Word training courses for blind or free podcasts or webinars?  Thanks.
