[nfbcs] Computer Shutting off During the Night

Are any breakers flipping elsewhere in your house? Is the heat or some other major power sucker kicking on at night more now than in the past few weeks? I ask because this issue could be indicative of a power issue in the house, especially if there are any other gremlins lurking. But I certainly hope not. My first step would be to move the surge protector to another outlet and see if it recurs. Then try a different surge protector. I doubt is the computer itself, especially if it's running perfectly after you turn it back on. If it's truly important to you to keep the computer running at night (so it can update or run virus scans etc), you might try a surge protector with a battery backup- this would be a fail safe. They can be pricey but I have had luck finding them at a reasonable price on Amazon. I hope this advice helps and I hope the person coming out on Friday can assist you. Have a good evening!
