[nfbcs] Windows 7 and braille printer

I hope someone can advise me.  I'm running Windows 7.  I have 2 old but good
braille printers:  an MBoss and an Index.  Both of them are parallel
printers.

I bought a USB to parallel cable, and attached the Index to my PC.

I turned on the Index, then turned on the PC.

I set up a printer on port USB001, and tried to print a file from Notepad,
using control-P.  Nothing happened.

Can anyone tell me how to make this work?
