[nfbcs] Protected view and knowledgebase idea

Yeah, I know how to fix protected view, but  thanks; I was looking for a few words to make the explanation clear.

It does make me realize that it would be cool to have a blindness solutions knowledge base, sort of like the Microsoft knowledge base, where you could actually look up solutions like this, however. Stack exchange is the equivalent for the sighted.

I wonder if there is a fairly easy-to-implement CMS that could make this possible; I'd be willing to work on such a thing.

I've always been impressed with applevis, it must take quite a bit of sql smarts to make it so robust.

You mentioned not being able to read attachments because they are in protected view.  You can configure Word, Excel and PowerPoint so that when those files are attached to an email, they are not opened in protected view.  You would go into the Trust Center settings in those programs.  Let me know if you don't know how to do this.
