Clara, Amy, Karl, & Gary:

Do you know individuals that would be good candidates to participate in this study? If so, let’s try to reach out to them, but please provide me with their names and contact information. I would like to follow up with them once they have participated in the study.

Thanks,

Anil

Subject: Seeking Blind Programmers for Interview Study

Dear NFB,

My name is Khaled AL. Albusays from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Our research involves a study of code navigation challenges faced by developers with visual impairments. We are conducting interview study with blind programmers. The study will cover issues involving programming (including tools) with a focus on code navigation, as well as a demonstration of some programming challenges. The interview will be held online via Skype, Google hangouts. For purposes of the study, the interviews will be recorded. The interview will take approximately one hour, and participants will be compensated for their time (with a $50 Amazon gift card if they are in the U.S).

We are seeking your help to forward this message to your blind programmers group. I attached the consent form as well as the interview questions. They can contact us using the following email: khaled.albusays at gmail.com
