Hello,

My name is Nimer, a technology instructor and geek. I am employed by a
nonprofit blindness agency in Minnesota. I am putting together an advanced
technology camp for youth. The purpose of this camp is to teach some vital
skills which are needed at school or at work, and to empower youth to think
about the tech field as a career path, and to give them confidence in their
abilities in technology. The first few days will be dedicated to an
exposure and some skills teaching of standard office apps, as well as
office web apps. The rest of the time will be used to dabble into
programming... we will have a raspberry and an arduino on hand, and I am
looking for some relatively simple python tutorials... Unfortunately, much
of what is out there relies on visual tools and a lot of dragging and
dropping... I am interested in getting down and dirty with coding... I feel
that that would be more accessible, and would provide more of a realistic
sense of what programming is about. If you have thoughts of tutorials or
lessons that tie in, please let me know. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
