Hi Sabra:

In my opinion, the speech on demand feature is designed for people with
low vision who still use the mouse. I am a Braille display user and don't
see the its benefit. I was having a problem turning speech off completely
when needed. Many Braille display users do this so they can work with
their peers in a quieter environment. However, I definitely understand why
you would be frustrated with sighted people turning Jaws off. I just
wanted to make sure you understood my dilemma. I could not use ZoomText if
you paid me, but I prefer Braille only most of the time.
