[NFBCS] Command Line Editors

Yeah, I am forced to work that way from time to time. Although, I think
that you will find that your life will be much easier if you can map a
network drive. I think you will find it is worth your effort to
investigate sshfs for Mac or Windows. I am sorry I don't know more about
that already. But as I said, I do this kind of support for the Math
Department at the University Of Wisconsin so I can try those things
myself and report back here.

One thing that occurs to me is that your server might support mapping a
network drive via smb/cifs. If that's the case, you wouldn't need to
install anything on your computer whether it be a Mac or Windows. If
your server supports it, I can help you get connected that way. But
there are also about eleventy gazillion web pages out there already on
how to do it.

Actually, this thread has made me a better systems admin because I think
I'm going to look into supporting smb/cifs for the students I serve.
And I am going to write up some documentation on installing sshfs for
Windows and Mac.
