[NFBCS] reducing picture size

Depending on the content of the image, you may save space by
converting to a PNG. There's also several commandline programs. One
I've heard about and used a bit is jpg optimizer. For PNGs, pngcrush
is also highly recommended.

Depending on the sive at which the image will be viewed, reducing the
resolution or cropping can also make a huge difference. Also,
conversion to greyscale can work wonders as well, but that's not
always an option. But again, it all depends on what the image contains
and its intended use.
