Peter,
I do not have Outlook 365, but for outlook 2016 (the non-online version of
outlook) there is 2 ways to get to the Outbox.
1. press control + Y, then use your arrow keys to find the outbox, then
select it
2. If you have your folders panel being displayed in its own panel; press
control + shift_ tab key, then use the arrow keys to find the outbox
(note you might need to find the inbox and expand or open that folder to be
able to see the outbox folder.)

You said you wanted to go to the outbox folder and delete it so that you can
send it later. This does not make sense. Usually Outlook will let you exit
without sending. So when you open Outlook the next time and tell out look to
send / receive message it will send them at that time.

Unless the email message are large, you could simply tell Outlook to send /
receive all the messages again, then wait a few seconds and try exiting
outlook again. When I take this approach it usually works. The other reason
why I get this message is I told outlook to send the message, but outlook
has not reached out to your mail server to actually send it. So doing a send
all messages, this forces outlook to contact your mail server to send any
messages waiting to be sent.

I hope this helps even if it is not for outlook 365.

Subject: [NFBCS] Switching Mailboxes in Outlook 365

Hello everyone,

Now and then I receive a message from Outlook telling me
that I have unsent messages in my outbox. I'm given a choice of closing
Outlook and sending the messages later or if I want to keep Outlook opened.
I need to know how to switch mailboxes so I can view the contents of my
outbox when this happens to allow me to delete the messageand resend it
later. Some keystrokes for switching mailboxes will be very much
appreciated.

Peter Donahue
