Jim:

Once you have the audio, you can use a number of audio editors like Studio
Recorder or Total Recorder. I spent the big bucks a number of years ago to
buy Studio Recorder, and I have not been disappointed. I also bought a sound
converter program called Switch from NCH Software. I guess you now know
about YouTube-DL to actually convert the YouTube.

Cordially,

Subject: [NFBCS] Is it possible to download videos from YouTube?

Good afternoon,

Here's the deal.

Someone posted a video on YouTube of him doing a kind of living room
concert. There are a few songs I'd like to get from that video without
having to watch the whole thing over and over, just to get those songs.

Is there a way to first download the entire video from YouTube and save it
to my computer? Then, is there a way to maybe use a program like Total
Recorder or some other thing to edit what I have on my computer and get
those two or three particular things I want from it?

I've done some google searching, but I'm leery about downloading just any
freeware program without knowing about it or seeing if anyone else has done
something similar.

If I can convert that video to audio, that would be very cool as well, but
not necessary.

What do you guys think?

Jim
