[NFBCS] Question regarding stuck key issue on Focus 40

To my knowledge, proper cleaning of dot pins requires professional servicing. A few things you can try though:

Use the Focus test modes to make the dot raise and lower repeatedly and/or on command. I don't know the specific button combinations and test modes available on your display, but the Focus line tends to have modes for doing
this sort of thing.

Gently and repeatedly push the dot down while it is raised, so that it will come back up and perhaps rub off anything sticky around its edges in the process. I did this to a Focus 40 after it acquired a small quantity of
my morning coffee once upon a time. It might even be better to do this while the entire display is upside down, with dots facing the floor, if there's a chance that any liquid or solid might flow or fall out during this
operation. I have not tried that one though.

I don't know what sorts of chemical cleaning agents are ok to use on a Focus display, or I would have recommended one here.

   Hi,

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Recently, I noticed that the one of the dot keys on my Focus 40 Blue
Braille Display remains stuck in the pressed position and requires
   manual effort to release it.

Can anyone please provide suggestions on how to fix this issue? Can the
key be easily taken out for cleaning ?

   Thank s for your help.

   Regards,

   Purvi
