[NFBCS] Looking For Zoom-Experienced Volunteers

The NFB is a part of several organizations producing the virtual 2021 Houston White Cane Safety Day celebration on Friday, October 15, 2021. The event consists of a morning session from 10 AM to 12 PM CDT and an afternoon resource fair from 12:15 PM to 3 PM CDT. We are responsible for the afternoon resource fair from 12:15 PM to 3 PM CDT.  The resource fair will have 20 exhibitors in breakout rooms.  Seven of these exhibitors have asked for Zoom help coordinating their breakout rooms.  Another organization has offered nine volunteers-seven main volunteers and two reserve volunteers--for this purpose.  We are a little unsure as to whether they will be available for the event.  We are building an option B set of volunteers.

Would there be three people who would be interested in being a Zoom coordinator for our White Cane Safety day resource fair?  I would ask potential volunteers to commit to an hour-long training session at 7 PM CDT on October 12, 2021, and the 12:15 PM to 3 PM CDT resource fair on October 15.  If the original volunteers are available for the resource fair, then the backup volunteers need not stay unless they wish to do that.

I am attaching the flyer for the event.

I will individually accept the first three volunteers and send them more information.
