[NFBCS] Switch to iPhone?

Christopher, some of ,the things I do are:

* creating text using Google voice assistant (Bixby isn't nearly as usable
for creating texxxt)
* reading texts with Bixby. Bixby marks my text as read once I read them
and I'm able to delete them with my voice. Google can't delete them and
doesn't mark them as read. So if I get nultiple text over some period of
time it makes me listen to all of them rather than just new ones.
* I use Talkback for apps like MS Outlook for email, Microsoft and Google
Authendicators, Ring app, Nest app , Amazon Alexa app,
* change phone settings using Talkback or Bixby voice commands for things
like turning on/off features like WiFi, Bluetooth, Do Not Disturb mode, etc.
* I would like to be able to use a vido chat to help me with things like
reading what's on a product label but so far haven't needed to do that yet.

I'm also concerned about privacy and security like using FaceID and whether
or not Siri can be set to have "always listening mode" set to off. Would
I be able to setup and use the phone by myself?

Thanks,
Dan
*

Huh, what does this have to do with the internet of things? To somewhat
answer Dan's questions, I went from an iPhone to an Android phone and back
to an iPhone, so I can't really talk about what it would take to go straight
from an Android phone to an iPhone. I'd say the basics will be the same in
that you'll be flicking, exploring by touch and double tapping. The
individual gestures will differ from platform to platform though. Although
Apple is letting you customize your system more, you have more control over
your Android phone, so if you're particular about how your home pages are
set up, you may be disappointed in the iPhone. I tend to think the iPhone is
a bit more stable as IOS gets updated, but I've definitely been burned by
regressions with both the iPhone and my Android phone.

IMHO, both platforms have their strengths and weaknesses, so it would be
best if you could take an iPhone for a spin before deciding to take the
plunge. If you told us what you do with your smart phone, and what's
important to you, you may also get some more and better advice then what I'm
offering.

Sounds like the electronics had a bad crash.  This happens when we try to
push Internet of things down everyone's throat.  You can't put a truck in a
doghouse.
