Hi Charles,

Two things to consider.

If you are using JAWS: you might look at: JAWS key + v, type the word "cursor", and you will see several options one of which will be copy from virtual cursor (which copies text), or copy using full screen (which might give you the link.  

The second thing you might try is to point at the link you want to copy, hit the context key, and you should get a copy link option.  

You may have to copy the text, and actual underlying link address, separately.

Hi all, quick Slack hyperlink problem.  I'm trying to paste in a SharePoint link to a Slack message. It has a colon X colon within it.  Slack converts that to a X symbol.  I've attempted to correct this without luck.

So what I want to do in this and other situations that would make for a better message is hyperlink the actual text.  I'm using the Windows 10 Slack Desktop client.  According to the internet I should be able to do Control + Shift + U to get a hyperlink dialog box.  This however isn't working.  I'm using Fusion 2022 (JAWS & ZoomText).  

I've tried with and without a preceding Ins+3 to ignore the next keyboard command.  I've also tried to eliminate Fusion 2022 by exiting and using Narrator.


Anyone have a tip for how to actually hyperlink text with a URL in Slack Desktop on Windows?
