[NFBCS] Jaws and sound cutting out

	hello Tracy.  If the silencio program Curtis recommended doesn't work for you, you might
try looking at your sound card settings.  If your laptop is like mine, A Dell with a Reltek
audio chip set in it, and the important part is the Reltek chip set, not the Dell part, then
the audio jack where you plug in the speaker can be configured to operate in a number of modes,
most of which are chosen automatically by the sound driver when you plug things into it.  It
may be that the delay is caused by the driver having to re-evaluate  what is plugged into the
audio jack after the sound chip has gone idle during momentary silences.  Look for options
like, power saving mode for the audio jack or the sound card, or automatic device selection
when the audio jack is in use.  Turn power saving mode off for the audio jack and tell the
sound card driver to always assume you have a speaker/headphone plugged into it when it's
active.  Doing those two things may remove the delay when using the speaker.
